How do I write footnotes for online sources?

if there was no author..or date mentioned..but I have the article name and the website. How do I write footnotes for online sources?
Just do the information you have. %26lt;i%26gt;Article name%26lt;/i%26gt;. website. (change it back to black and get rid of the underline) And the date (if you don't have the date, do the season and year). If it has multiple pages or is an excerpt you must also include page numbers with a semi-colon, professors hate using pp or page... it should look like this:

%26lt;i%26gt;Title: Subtitle%26lt;/i%26gt;. http:// whatever.com. July 27, 1987; 201-203.

If its an actual online journal you have to include the journal name as well.

In true Chicago Manual style it's ONLY ok to use http addresses if the article ONLY exists on the internet. If it is actually published on real paper, you have to treat it like such.
