How do you make footnotes in microsoft word numbers instead of letters?

they are being done with ';i'; and i want them to be ';1, 2, 3'; etc. this is word 2007 on a PC?How do you make footnotes in microsoft word numbers instead of letters?
Double click the 'i'. A window should pop up that gives you options to select the bullet type.How do you make footnotes in microsoft word numbers instead of letters?
Do this:





1. Click the References tab on the Ribbon.


2. Click the arrow in the lower-right corner of the Footnote group.


3. In the Footnote Format list box, select the format you want.


4. Click Apply.





That should fix them all.
