How do you put footnotes and endnotes on a Microsoft Word document?

Please help! Thanks :)How do you put footnotes and endnotes in Microsoft Word?
Click Insert %26gt; Reference %26gt; Footnote or Endnote

By default, Word places footnotes at the end of each page and endnotes at the end of the document. You can change the placement of footnotes and endnotes by making a selection in the Footnotes or Endnotes box.

In the Number format box, click the format you want.

As you insert additional footnotes or endnotes in the document, Word automatically applies the correct number format. You can also use shortcut keys to insert footnotes or endnotes.

Press CTRL+ALT+F to insert a footnote.

Press CTRL+ALT+D to insert an endnote. How do you put footnotes and endnotes in Microsoft Word?
Put the cursor when you want the footnote or end-note to mark.

Click Insert, Reference, Footnote - choose which numbering you require and click OK and then the bottom of the page makes room for your comments. Enter these and close.

Return to your text where you placed the cursor and you should find a number there which you designated. Gently place the cursor over the number and the footnote or end-note shows your comments. Also your comments will be at the bottom of the page.
