How do you insert endnotes/footnotes on Microsoft Word 2003?

I really need help inserting endnotes in my paper and I'm using Microsoft Word 2003. Please help!How do you insert endnotes/footnotes on Microsoft Word 2003?
Try this:





1.Position the cursor where you want the footnote or endnote reference to go.


2.Click on the Insert-%26gt;Reference-%26gt;Footnote menu item.


3.Click Insert.


4.Type the footnote.





The footnotes are best viewed in Print Layout view, at least until you get used to how they work.

make sure the cursor is where you want the reference to go (the little number or letter)





an endnote will go at the end of your document, and a footnote will go at the bottom of the page where the reference is inserted
