Do you write reception to follow as footnote on the wedding invite?

I'm getitng married and I'm trying to put the wording together for the invitation. The wedding is at 2, reception is a different place and cocktails starting at 5, dinner at 6/630, and dance to follow. I'm having a hard time putting together the cermony invite and then the reception card to convey that.Do you write reception to follow as footnote on the wedding invite?
If the reception is immediately following at the same venue, then the footnote of ';Reception to follow'; is added to the invite itself and indicates that guests already know it will be immediately after at the same place. If there is a gap (which guests do not appreciate at all) and it is held at a different location, then a separate reception card is made telling where and when the reception takes place and what type of reception it is.

It really shouldn't be that difficult. Just make a separate card that says

Please join us for dinner and dancing

Cocktails at 5 o'clock in the afternoon

Dinner at 6 o'clock in the evening

Location name

Location address

Otherwise guests are not going to know where it is or what time it starts.Do you write reception to follow as footnote on the wedding invite?
We put all the info on the invitation itself. The body of the invitation is about the ceremony, then the reception information goes on in the lower left of the card, flush left, in a smaller font -

Cocktails 5:00 p.m.

Dinner 6:00 p.m.

Dance to follow

The Amazing Ballroom

123 Fancy Street

Anywhere, MP
Yes. At the bottom of the invitation, write ';Reception to follow at ________';. You don't have to put the address of the location.
You can do either, make the reception on the bottom of the invite, or make it's own invite. Separately.. :)
