I have an essay to write and i'm using open office.
my problem is i have too many footnotes for one page,
half are footnotes and the other the actual essay and it doesn't look good,nor will my teacher like that :P
how can i move a whole footnote to the next page,
even if the marked footnote is on a previous page?How can i move a footnote to the next page?
You can鈥檛 do that.
The idea of a footnote is that at least the first line of it should appear on the same page as the text. No exceptions. OpenOffice.org normally puts the whole footnote on the same page.
I鈥檓 afraid that you will have to put some padding in the essay on that page to reduce the number of footnotes.
