I'm back. I made a short document on Word.





Then I hit Insert, scrolled down to Reference and it listed





Footnote. I clicked on option e.g. to put the footnote at the bottom of the page or just below you text.





Follow instructions from there.





I would suggest you try a sample before you try to do it on your main document.
