How do you make a footnote show up on only ONE page in Microsoft Word?

When I enter it into through the header/footer function dealy, it shows up on all the pages and I only want it on ONE page, thanks! How do you make a footnote show up on only ONE page in Microsoft Word?
There's a way to get real footnotes (with numbers and all!) in Word. Hit the Insert-%26gt;Reference-%26gt;Footnote... menu item. This will not only put an auto-number on the footnote, but it will put a separator between the 'note and the main text and, within reason, will try to keep the entire footnote on the page with the reference.

Note: This is entirely independent of the page footer. How do you make a footnote show up on only ONE page in Microsoft Word?
if you want it only in the first page, do it, and then in the next page insert a new Section (i believe in insert menu should be Section), and then in the new section u can modify the footnote without changing the footnotes in the last section.

if you want to do it in the middle of the paper, insert a new section, so the first section wont have nothing as footnote, and then in the second section do your footnote, once you are done with this, insert another section (3rd one) which will constitute the rest of your paper without the footnote.
